I was sure the old cast iron drains in that 1950s school were fine, but a camera inspection changed my mind.

It's amazing how often we trust our gut over the facts. You see it everywhere, from home repairs to big life choices. People get attached to the way things have always been, even when the proof is right there showing a problem. That camera doesn't lie, and it probably just saved a huge headache down the road.

Honestly, how many times have we ignored a weird noise in the car because it "seems fine"? Or skipped reading the full terms on something because we just want to click agree. It's like our brains fight the data. I've seen people stay in bad jobs for years, even with clear signs it's hurting them, just because change feels scary. The proof is usually right there if we're brave enough to look at it.

Oh man, that hits home. We bought an older house and swore the foundation was solid because it had "good bones." A proper inspection showed a crack we never would have seen, and fixing it early saved us a fortune. It's so easy to talk yourself out of looking closer because you don't want to find bad news. That camera probably saved you from a real disaster.
