Showerthought: I just saw the difference between a basic and a full grease interceptor cleanout
We had a restaurant client in Omaha with a slow drain in the kitchen line. The first crew just snaked the main line and called it good, but it backed up again in two weeks. I went out myself and insisted on a full interceptor pump and scrape. We pulled out over 40 pounds of solid grease and food waste that the snake just pushed past. The line has been clear for six months now. Has anyone else had a job where the 'quick fix' just made the next visit worse?

Actually, my uncle runs a food truck in Lincoln and had the opposite happen. A company talked him into a full interceptor cleanout last fall for almost $800. The drain got slow again by spring, and a different plumber just used a high-pressure jetter on the line for half the price. It's been fine for over a year now. Sometimes the big fix is just extra work you don't need.

Honestly though, sometimes the quick fix is all it needs! My cousin's diner had a jetter clear their line three years ago and it's still perfect. Not every clog needs the full expensive cleanout.
