Can we talk about how repair software is pushing us away from hands-on fixes?

I've seen too many cases where the software suggests a complex solution when the problem was just a loose cable.

That "loose cable" situation makes people give up on even trying a simple fix first.

You know, it's not always about giving up. Sometimes people just don't know where to begin with tech stuff. They worry they might break something even more. A loose cable seems easy, but if you've never opened a device before, it's scary. We should encourage simple checks without making folks feel dumb for being cautious. What do you think makes someone more likely to try a fix?

But is it really that big of a deal?
