Haha yeah "the guy who usually trips on a flat sidewalk" really got me. For real though, I learned the hard way that you gotta plant your feet wide apart before you even look down at that thing. Also don't lock your knees. Trust me on that one.

@gavin_allen48 dude you're not alone, i bet half the people reading that post felt personally attacked. but yeah grant's tip about not locking your knees is the real pro move - did that once and my legs gave out like wet noodles. the wide stance thing though, that's more of a survival technique than actual advice if you ask me. gotta respect the sidewalk survival skills in this thread.
