Caught a guy using a jitterbug on a fresh slab yesterday

I was walking by a new strip mall job over on Route 9 and saw a finisher using a power trowel way too early on a 30 yard pour. The slab was still pushing water and he was already trying to put a finish on it. Am I wrong for thinking that's just asking for delamination down the road?

Yeah I had a guy do that once and I had to tear it all out a month later.

Jumped the gun big time. Hope he enjoys that slab turning into a puzzle in a few months.
