Figured out the gyro aiming on my Switch Pro controller by accident

I was playing Splatoon 3 and kept getting wrecked in ranked matches because my aim was all over the place. After like 3 weeks of frustration, I bumped the sensitivity down by 10 points and turned off the Y-axis inversion without even thinking about it. Suddenly my flick shots started landing and I climbed from B- to A rank in one session. Has anyone else had a random settings tweak just click like that for them?

Hate to be that guy, but gyro aiming is actually a motion control thing not related to sensitivity or inversion settings. Just a heads up before you mess with the wrong stuff.

You mentioned gyro aiming isn't related to sensitivity settings, but what about people who use motion controls alongside the stick for fine adjustments? Isn't that still tied to how sensitive the gyro responds when you move the controller? Just trying to wrap my head around where one ends and the other begins.
