My cousin swore the N64 controller was the best, and after a weekend in Toledo I finally get it
My cousin handed me his N64 controller back in 1999 during a trip to Toledo and told me the three-prong setup would make sense after a few hours. Twenty years later I picked one up again at a retro shop and realized he was right, the middle grip makes Mario 64 feel natural in a way the newer pads don't. Does anyone else have a controller they hated at first and then came around on?

Pretty sure Toledo trip was 2001, not 99.
