Paid 300 bucks for a 'pro' ghost detector, got absolutely nothing
I hit up that haunted courthouse tour in Savannah last fall and brought a $300 spirit box that some online group swore by. Walked every corridor, asked every question you can think of, and all I got was static and a dead battery by 9 PM. Then this old tour guide pulls out her phone, plays a recording app, and claims it caught a voice saying 'leave.' Tell me why people still drop serious cash on this gear when a free app does the same nonsense? Has anyone actually gotten a real hit from an expensive paranormal gadget, or are we all just paying for the theater?
Wasted money on gadgets is just a thing people do everywhere, like buying a $200 blender that sits in the cabinet or a fancy fitness tracker that ends up in a drawer. That tour guide's free app probably caught nothing but folks hear what they wanna hear in fuzzy audio, same way you can play any static backwards and find a "voice." Save your cash and enjoy the tour for what it is, a fun spooky story, not a science experiment.
