That airport parking lot door click convinced me 5G is messing with key fobs
My 2022 Honda Pilot key fob stopped working at LAX last Tuesday but started up fine after I walked 30 feet away from the terminal, so now I think all those towers are scrambling the signal.

Key fobs have had weird dead zones long before 5G was a thing. I've had my fob crap out in parking garages, near hospitals, and even right next to a big electrical box. More likely your fob's battery is getting weak, or that spot near the terminal has some interference from all the wifi and radar equipment they use anyway. 5G towers aren't putting out enough power to scramble a key fob signal from a distance like that, that's more of a hollywood scare than real engineering problem. Your fob probably just needed a different angle or a moment to reconnect.
