Can we talk about that cheap roofing sealant from Home Depot?

I used that Henry's 209 stuff on my shed roof near Phoenix last month. Cost me $28 a gallon and I thought I scored big. Two weeks later we got a heavy rain and it bubbled up like pancake batter. Now I gotta strip it all off and spend triple on actual rubber coating. Has anyone else had this stuff fail on them during a real storm?

Did you clean the surface with TSP first or just slap it on?
