Paper bids in a folder versus a tablet in the field, no contest anymore

I used to print out every job spec and hand write my measurements on the back of a envelope, mostly because I lost my tablet twice in the first month. Now I take photos of the site, use a free app to mark up dimensions, and email the client right there on the curb. Has anyone else found that older subs look at you weird when you pull out a stylus instead of a pencil?
