Vent: my old boom truck threw a fit mid-unload on Friday
Was moving a pallet of bagged concrete to a job off 82nd Ave and the hydraulic line on the boom just let go, spraying fluid everywhere while the pallet hung there about 12 feet up. Had to hand-crank the emergency release to set it down safely and lost half the afternoon cleaning up and chasing a replacement fitting. Anybody else had a major piece of equipment fail at the worst possible moment, and how did you keep the job from falling completely behind?
