Watched a guy at the Kansas City trade show set up his whole bid folder in 12 minutes
I was at the contractor expo in Kansas City last month and this guy next to me did his entire bid packet on a tablet while I was still messing with paper. He had a template with all his line items and just tapped through it, and I watched him finish 14 pages before my coffee got cold. I had been doing bids on printouts and a calculator, which explains why mine took me two hours every Sunday night. Been running my stuff off a template since I got back, and my Sundays are a lot shorter now. Anyone else make the jump from paper to tablet for bids, or is it still printouts for you?
