Appreciation post: my instructor's advice about thin hair saved a client today
Back in cosmetology school, my instructor Dana kept saying don't use heavy creams on fine hair, stick to light mists. I thought she was being old fashioned. Today a client with super thin hair came in wanting volume. I grabbed the mist, diffused it upside down for 6 minutes. She looked at herself and said, “My hair has never looked this full.” Felt great. Anyone else have a teacher rule they ignored for too long and then found out was spot on?
