Bleach burn on a bridal updo, bride went pale

I was doing a full highlight correction in Atlanta last Saturday and the foils slid right off the back section, leaving a hot spot that turned the hair orange, so I had to tone it three times and the bride kept saying 'just cover it up' while I was panicking inside, has anyone else had a foil mishap on a big event day and how did you save it?
