Bought a cheap hair steamer off Amazon. Big mistake.
I spent $65 on a portable hair steamer from some brand I never heard of. It worked fine for the first two treatments on my clients, but by the third use the heating element just quit. No steam, no heat, nothing. I had to refund three clients and lost about $120 in business that day. Has anyone tried a reliable steamer under $200 that actually lasts?

I got a $45 steamer from a brand called "HairPro" and it literally sparked on the third use. The heating element just went pop and I had to cancel two bookings that day too. It cost me about $80 in lost work, plus the time it took to put out a small fire in my bathroom. Never again.
