Chat with a bridal stylist changed how I price services
She told me I was leaving money on the table. Said I charge like I'm still a student doing friends for cheap. Hit different because she showed me her booked out calendar at $350 a wedding updo. Now I'm redoing my price list this weekend. Any of you do a major price bump and lose clients?

Whoa, jacking prices that high sounds like a fast way to clear out your whole client list.

Whoa hold on, $350 for a wedding updo? That's insane! I mean that in the best way possible. I can barely get my own hair to cooperate for a night out, let alone pay that much. I guess it makes sense if she's really good and has the clients to back it up though. Good for her for knowing her worth. My cousin does nails and she bumped her prices up like 30% last year and only lost one regular who was always complaining anyway. You just gotta trust the process I think.
