Just hit 500 clients in my chair and I don't think it's the big deal everyone says
Everyone at the salon in Springfield talks about this number like it's magic, but for me it just means I've been doing this for three years. It matters because it shows I can keep people coming back, but it doesn't mean my cuts are suddenly better than at 499. Has anyone else felt like these milestones are more about business than skill?

Yeah, that part about it showing you can keep people coming back... that's the real win. The number itself is just a count. The skill was already there. People make a big deal out of round numbers but it's the day to day work that actually matters.

So when do we get the parade for hitting 10,000 days of daily work?

Totally. That's the whole game right there, @theas94. It's so easy to stare at the follower number or the sales count and forget what got you there. The real proof is in the repeat visits, like you said. You can't fake that kind of trust. Hitting a big round number feels good for a day, but the daily grind of making something people actually want to come back to, that's the skill that lasts.
