My grandma called me out for using a plastic watering can
She saw it in my garden selfie and said 'that's not very cottagecore of you' lol. It hit different because she grew up in the 40s with a metal one she still uses, so now I'm hunting for a rusty old tin one at the flea market this weekend. Anyone else get roasted by an older relative for something small like that?

That "very cottagecore of you" line is brutal but also kind of hilarious coming from grandma. My own nan gave me the side eye for using a plastic collander when I still had her old enamel one in the cupboard. Hope you find something good at the flea market, nothing beats the stuff that's actually lasted decades.

The plastic collander guilt is so real lol. My aunt still brings up that I threw away her old wooden spoon from the 70s and I feel like I committed a crime every time I see her.
