Went to a friend's farmhouse and noticed their 'cozy' clutter was just dust

I visited this old farmhouse last weekend near Lancaster, and they had dried flowers and quilts everywhere for that cottagecore look, but the dust on those quilts was 3 months thick. Nothing says 'cozy old-fashioned' like a stuffy nose from allergies, am I right? Anyone else think we overdo the rustic decor without cleaning it?

Three months of dust? That's DISGUSTING, they probably haven't touched those quilts since the last harvest season.
