My neighbor's kid said something that made me look at my game collection differently
He came over to play and asked why all my co-op games were about fighting or sports. He said, 'My sister and I just want to build a farm together.' It made me realize I've been ignoring a whole side of couch co-op. What are some good chill building or farming games for two players on a couch?

Honestly that kid is onto something. I had the same wake up call when my niece visited. Tbh you should check out Stardew Valley for couch co-op, it's perfect for building a farm together without any pressure. There's also games like Overcooked if you want silly fun, though that's more chaotic than chill. It really changes the vibe when you're working together to create something instead of just compete. My partner and I play these types of games way more now.

Totally get what you mean about working together to create something. My husband and I started playing Stardew Valley last winter, and we spent a whole weekend just fixing up the farmhouse and fishing. It was so much nicer than our usual shooter games.
