Rant: My second controller died mid-boss fight in Cuphead last night
It just started drifting left during the final phase of the devil fight and I had to finish with one joystick on my lap while my brother screamed at me, has anyone else had a controller totally give out at the worst possible moment?

The trigger on my Xbox One controller actually snapped clean off during the final phase of the Valkyrie queen fight in God of War. I used to think controller failures were just bad luck or people being rough with their gear. But after that happened to me with a controller I took good care of, I started buying the extended warranty on every controller I get now. It's wild how these things always seem to die at the worst possible moment.

Wait, @patriciamoore how long did you have that controller before it snapped? I've heard a lot of people say the Xbox One controllers have weak triggers, but I always figured it was just people being too rough with them. Now I'm wondering if I've just been lucky so far with mine. Do you think it's worth getting the warranty from Best Buy or straight from Microsoft?
