Spent 45 minutes trying to split-screen Halo with my brother last night

Turns out both controllers were set to the same player profile and I didn't notice because the button mapping was identical. Has anyone else had a co-op session get derailed by something this dumb right out of the gate?

Last week I spent a solid hour tracking down a ghost in my Plex server and it turned out to be a bad HDMI cable that worked fine for video but kept dropping audio.
