Tried a 4-player beat 'em up with my kids last Friday and it was chaos

Oh man, was it total chaos or the good kind of chaos?" That's the real question, right? I mean, I've been there with my own kids and their friends, and there's a big difference between them figuring out the game together versus everyone just yelling over each other. For me, it's always the good kind when they start laughing at the same time a giant enemy pops up and sends all four characters flying. But ugh, the bad chaos is when the youngest starts crying because they keep dying and no one will let them pick up the health item. Which one did you get more of that night? Did the older kids help the little ones at all, or was it every kid for themselves?

Oh man, was it total chaos or the good kind of chaos? I've done the same thing with my nephews and it's basically a workout just trying to keep track of everyone. The little ones always run off screen and get lost in the corner while the older ones just mash buttons and scream. It's hilarious but also kind of exhausting after a few levels.
