Question about labeling my game shelves at Ikea

I visited the Ikea in Brooklyn last weekend and noticed they had these little label holders on the display shelves. It got me thinking about labeling my own game collection at home. I've got around 80 PS4 and Switch games stuffed into a small Billy bookcase, and finding anything is a mess. Has anyone tried those stick-on label holders from Amazon or are they just a waste of money?

Labels would probably just frustrate you more when things get shifted around (and they always do). I'd sort by console first, then alphabetically, and skip the labels entirely since you'll learn the layout faster than you think. Your time and money are better spent on some cheap plastic bin dividers from Target (they're like 5 bucks) than messing with sticky labels that'll peel off in a year.

Nodding along with you, that's rough. Nothing worse than hunting through a stack of games when you just want to play. I've got a similar setup and labels peeled off mine after a few months, sticky residue and all. Cheap bin dividers are a solid suggestion honestly, keeps things from sliding everywhere. Sorting by console first is smart too, that's what I ended up doing and it helped a ton. Just takes some trial and error to find what sticks.
