The foreman who told me I was leveling the crane wrong every single time
Old timer named Dave on the Irving job last Tuesday showed me I'd been relying on the bubble level instead of the load line and now I feel like an idiot for 8 years of bad picks, anyone else skip the basics and get called out for it?

8 years with bubble level and nobody caught it before Dave? What kind of jobs were you running where the load line didn't tell you something was off sooner? Bubble levels are for setting up the outriggers on flat ground, not for actual picks. Were you just lucky the whole time or did you have a few close calls that made you think something was wrong but you ignored it? I'm curious how bad the lean was on some of those lifts.
