Morning loop versus evening route, no contest after last Tuesday

Took the same stretch of river path at 7pm instead of 7am and my lab nearly pulled me into the reeds chasing geese, plus the mosquitoes were brutal. Has anyone else found their dog completely different on the evening walk, or is mine just extra wired after dark?

Ha! Evening walks turn every dog into a wild animal. Mine would trade me for one good goose chase.

Read somewhere that dogs get a burst of energy at dusk because their wild ancestors hunted then.
