Just realized I used to charge my phone to 100% every night, now I stop at 80% and my battery health is way better after 6 months
Honestly, I was team full charge for ages, but a buddy in Seattle showed me his 2 year old phone still holding 92% capacity, while mine dropped to 84% in half that time, so which side are you on, top off or baby the battery, and has anyone actually noticed a real difference?

The 80% thing feels like a cheat code once you actually commit to it. My old habit was topping off overnight because I was scared of running dry mid-day, but now I just slap it on the charger when I hit 30 and yank it at 80. Yeah, it's a pain at first, but your battery degrades way slower when it's not sitting at max voltage for hours. The people who say it makes no difference are probably the ones who replace phones every year anyway. Give it six months and check your battery health, the numbers speak for themselves. Plus, the whole "wake up to a dead phone" panic goes away once you stop stressing about a perfect charge.
