The day a projector bulb blew out during my 6th grade history slideshow
I was showing a video about ancient Egypt to my class last fall, and right in the middle of the Pharaoh part the bulb went pop and everything went dark. We had to finish the lesson using just my phone screen held up like a tiny movie theater. Now I always carry a backup HDMI adapter and a Bluetooth speaker in my bag, just in case the tech fails again. Has anyone else had a classroom gadget die on them mid lesson?

Happened to me last year with a smart board. The whole thing just froze up right as I was showing a map of the Roman Empire. Had to pull out my phone and hold it up like a tiny screen for 20 kids. Now I keep a spare projector bulb in my glovebox and a portable charger for my phone. Also learned to have the lesson downloaded to my tablet instead of streaming it. That way even if the wifi goes down I still have something to show. You got a go to backup plan for when the tech goes south?

Wait hold on, you keep a spare projector bulb in your glovebox? That's crazy dedicated, I can barely remember to keep a spare phone charger in my car. Respect though, that's some next level preparedness.
