inSpent $60 on a water filter that died on day two of a week-long trip
Oh man, that is the exact kind of gear failure that makes you want to throw the thing into a river. Nothing like paying good money for something that turns into a useless plastic bottle halfway through a trip, right? Bet that boiled water tasted like victory and ash though! I swear some of these filters are just expensive toys that look great in the store but can't handle real world use. Hope the rest of the hike was still worth it despite the extra campfire cooking time.

inThat tip about using a highlighter for future tasks actually works
Just one thing - you said yellow highlighter but that's actually one of the WORST colors for this trick because it blends in with white paper. You need an orange or pink one, those really POP against the page so you can't miss them even when you're flipping fast. I switched to neon orange after my first week and now I spot my future tasks from ACROSS the room.

inBack in 2019 a veteran concept artist told me to stop blending so much
Wait, you mean you DON'T blend? That's wild to me honestly.

inWarning: My $40 air fryer rack melted and ruined dinner
My $15 air fryer has a metal rack that came with it, and I've put it through the wringer for two years without any issues. Not saying yours didn't melt, but that $40 price tag makes me wonder what brand you bought. There are a lot of cheap no-name air fryer accessories on Amazon that use super thin plastic or bad coatings. I'd check if it was actually oven safe up to 400 degrees before blaming air fryer racks in general. Maybe you got a dud, or maybe the rack just wasn't rated for the heat you used. Just seems like one bad experience doesn't mean the whole concept is dangerous.

inI finally gave in and bought a proper cable labeling machine for the shop
Sorry @lee_grant97, but what do you do when the Brady label rolls get stuck or jam up? Mine always seems to act up at the worst possible time.
