Paid $130 for a 'vintage' deck that turned out to be a reprint from 2019
I found this supposedly 1950s Bicycle deck at a flea market in Portland last month. Seller had a whole story about inheriting it from his grandpa. Got it home, checked the tax stamp and the cellophane, everything looked off. Did some digging online and the print code matched a 2019 batch. So I basically bought a $8 deck for $130. My fault for not checking before handing over cash. Has anyone else gotten burned by fake vintage decks? What do you look for before you buy?
