Why does nobody talk about hitting 1000 unique decks in your collection?
I hit 1000 unique decks last Tuesday and honestly it freaked me out a bit. I didn't even notice it happen because I've been trading and buying for about 7 years now and it just crept up on me. I keep all my decks in plastic cases stacked on shelves in my office and I ran out of space about 50 decks ago. I had to start putting them under my bed which is probably not great for the cards but whatever. The weird thing is I remember thinking 100 was a lot back when I started and now I'm sitting here with ten times that. Has anyone else suddenly realized their collection got way bigger than they planned? How do you even organize that many decks without losing your mind?

Organize by manufacturer first, then by number - it's the only system that scales past 500 without making you want to sell everything. I color-code the cases with tape so I can find anything in under a minute.
