Remember when character sheets were all handwritten on notebook paper?
I was digging through old campaign notes from 2004 and realized we spent more time erasing and rewriting stats than actually playing, now everything's on digital sheets and I kinda miss the chaos, has anyone else switched back to paper for a game?

My group did four sessions last summer with nothing but pencil and graph paper, and I spent half the time trying to read the cleric's hit point total because he writes like a doctor. I get the nostalgia thing, I really do, I've got a shoebox full of those old character sheets from 1999 with coffee stains and eraser smudges. But digital sheets catch my math mistakes before I even roll initiative, and I can search for a feat in two seconds instead of flipping through three books. Paper had its charm, but I don't miss losing my character sheet to a spilled soda or having to rewrite everything because I leveled up and my handwriting got worse.

@nathan_barnes, that shoebox line hit hard, I found my old ranger sheet in a pizza box last week.
