At a gallery in Portland, a curator said my digital pieces looked 'too clean' next to the oil paintings.
Now I'm torn between keeping that polished digital look or adding more texture to fit in. Anyone else had to change their style for a specific show?

Maybe the issue isn't your style, but how the curator grouped the pieces together. Could be they just didn't give the right context for such different mediums to have a conversation.
