Setting up my art on a new platform made me laugh at my old methods
Honestly, I was uploading my pieces to this new showcase site last week. Tbh, it reminded me of when I'd save everything as tiny JPEGs to email to friends. Now everything is in high res and instant. Ngl, I spent way too long picking the right tags back then. It's funny how some things don't change, even with better tech.

High-res files still take time to upload.

Agree with @henderson.mila that high-res files take forever to upload. It's wild how we went from tiny JPEGs to massive files, but the waiting game is still real. Back in the day, the struggle was compressing stuff enough to send it quickly. Now, it's all about sitting through those slow upload bars even on fast internet. Shows how some parts of sharing art never really get easier, they just change shape. Like, we have all this better tech, but patience is still key, whether it's picking tags or waiting for files to go live.

Do you ever get tempted to drop the resolution just to avoid the wait, or is the quality always worth it?
