Took me 30 years to admit frozen vegetables are fine for stir fry

I always thought fresh was the ONLY way to go for stir fry, like my grandma taught me. But after three night shifts in a row last week, I grabbed a bag of frozen broccoli and snap peas from Walmart at 2AM. Honestly? They held up better than the fresh stuff I usually buy and I didn't have to toss half of it. Has anyone else had a frozen veggie win that changed your mind?

My friend swore by fresh veggies until she threw a frozen bag into her wok at 3AM after a long shift, and she said it saved her from eating takeout again. She buys frozen peas and carrots now just for the crunch.

The older I get the more I realize most of our rigid rules about food are just marketing or nostalgia dressed up as expertise. Frozen veggies are just produce picked at peak ripeness and locked in, beats half the sad stuff sitting in the grocery store bins for a week.
