My $80 pre-rinse sprayer was a complete waste of money and time

I bought one of those fancy sink sprayers from an online ad, thinking it would speed up my dish pre-rinse routine before loading the dishwasher. After three uses, the handle started leaking water everywhere, and the plastic clip that holds it broke off. I wasted 80 dollars and a trip to return it at the post office, which cost another 12 bucks. Has anyone else had bad luck with those expensive sprayer attachments?

Ugh, what a bummer, that's seriously frustrating when a product fails that fast. You'd think for eighty bucks it would at least hold up longer than a few uses, especially with all the hype in those ads. It's almost like they bank on you giving up and just eating the cost.

Sure but hold on @fiona332 , maybe the thing was designed for someone who actually reads the care instructions? I've seen people put "hand wash only" items in the dishwasher then blame the company. Not saying you did that but eighty bucks doesn't buy you magic or indestructible build quality. Sometimes hype is just hype and we have to do our homework before swiping the card.
