Unpopular opinion: I actually dishwashed a full load of unrinsed plates last week and it shocked me
I hit 200 dirty dishes without pre-rinsing and the machine cleaned everything fine. I tried it after my coworker Sarah from Tulsa said she never rinses. Anyone else test this and get scared at first?

Started testing it last year after getting tired of scraping plates. My machine is about 5 years old and I just scrape off the big chunks now, nothing more. It came out perfect every single time, even stuff that had been sitting overnight. Took me a while to trust it though, I kept checking mid cycle for the first few loads. Now I just load everything straight from the table and hit start. Saves me a good 10 minutes of standing at the sink every night.

Right, the "scrape off the big chunks" part is the key... people overthink it. My dishwasher's about the same age and I do the same, zero issues. It's honestly life changing once you realize the machine can handle more than you think.
