Last Thanksgiving at my aunt's place in Cleveland, my cousin watched me jam three cutting boards into the top rack sideways. He just said, 'Stand them up like books, back to back.' Tried it at home the next morning. Small wood boards fit vertical against the side rack, big plastic ones lean opposite. I used to run a second load for just boards, now everything fits in one. Wait till you realize you could just stack them flat in the cabinet and save the whole headache. Honestly, this is a 10 second tip for a problem that never took more than 10 seconds to solve anyway. I chuck my boards in the dishwasher however they land and they come out clean every single time. The real game changer is just buying boards that are the same size so they nest together, not playing Tetris with your dish rack. But hey, if standing them up like books makes you feel organized, more power to you. Just don't act like this is some life altering revelation.
