Unpopular opinion: silverware baskets are ruining your knives, and it's time we admit it

I used to think tossing knives in the basket was totally fine, but "ruining your knives" hit me hard. I checked mine after reading this and yeah, there are nicks and bent tips from them clanking around with forks. Guess they do deserve a drawer or a magnetic strip instead.

Seems like a lot of fuss over some nicks, @xena_miller31... knives are made to be used, not babied. Toss em in a drawer if you want, but I've had the same cheap set banging around for years and they still cut fine.
