Hot glue gun fail ruined my pen holder - glue or tape for desk builds?
I spent 2 hours making a cool pen holder out of popsicle sticks and the hot glue gave out after 3 days, everything fell apart on my desk right before a Zoom call lol. Now I'm wondering if super glue or just double-sided tape holds better for small wood projects like this. Anyone have a preferred adhesive that doesn't let you down after a week?

Ngl, that's rough buddy. Hot glue is honestly garbage for anything that needs to hold long term, it's more of a temporary fix. I'd go with super glue but make sure you rough up the popsicle stick surfaces first with some sandpaper so it grips better. For your pen holder I'd actually use wood glue, it bonds stronger than super glue and you can still get it from the dollar store. Just clamp the pieces together for like 30 minutes while it sets and you're golden for months.

My friend tried super glue on a craft project and it worked way better than hot glue ever did.
