Found my grandma's old sewing table in the basement last week
It was covered in dust and had a broken leg, but I used a $10 clamp from the hardware store and some wood glue to fix it up. The finish still has those little scratches from her pins and needles, which I kind of like. Has anyone else stumbled onto a family piece that just needed a little love?

Pulled an ancient rocking chair out of my neighbor's trash pile last month. One new leg and a can of spray paint later, it's the best thing in my living room lmao.
