Showerthought: That cheap dip bar stand I bought saved me $40 but cost me way more
I spent $80 on a pair of cheap resistance bands that snapped on the third workout and sent a chunk of rubber flying past my face. Now I'm stuck with busted bands and a dent in my drywall from where the clip hit. Has anyone found a reliable way to reinforce those metal clamp ends or should I just cough up for the expensive ones?
I mean honestly unless you're benching a car the bands snapping didn't really put you in danger, that rubber was moving but it's not like it was a bullet or anything. The dent in the drywall just gives your place character, people pay for that shabby chic look anyway. My cheap bands held up fine for months until I left them in the sun too long, just sayin'.
