Coworker told me my second monitor was just for email... ouch
I used to have my email and Slack on my left monitor and everything else on my right. My coworker walked by and said 'looks like you just use that one for messages.' It stung because she was right. So I moved my code editor to the left screen and keep reference docs and terminals on the right. Has anyone else had someone point out a blind spot in their setup?

Oh man, 'just for messages' - that's a rough one. I had the exact same thing happen with my dual monitor setup a few years back. Someone pointed out I was just using one for terminals and logs, and I felt like I'd been caught cheating on a test or something.

Who says that's a bad thing though? Having a dedicated monitor for messages and logs is actually SMART if you work in support or monitoring. It keeps your main workflow UNCLUTTERED and lets you catch critical alerts without alt-tabbing constantly. Most people waste their second monitor on Spotify or Twitter anyway, so at least yours was serving a PURPOSE.
