I finally found a cable management setup that actually works for me
After months of having cables tangled behind my desk I finally took a Friday afternoon to sort it all out. I've got a dual monitor setup on a standing desk and the wires were always getting caught when I'd raise it up. I picked up a pack of adhesive cable clips from the hardware store for like six bucks and ran everything along the back edge of the desk. The worst part was the monitor power cables because they're so thick and stiff, but I zip-tied them together every 8 inches and looped the extra length underneath. It took about an hour and a half total and my desk actually looks clean now, which is something I never thought I'd see. Has anyone else dealt with the cable bundle getting pinched when the desk rises up?
