Spent 90 minutes messing with DisplayPort cables before realizing my monitor was just set to the wrong input
I just got a second monitor for my home office and spent a full 90 minutes swapping cables, restarting my PC, and even reinstalling drivers. Turns out the new monitor defaulted to HDMI and I never actually hit the input button to switch it to DisplayPort. Felt like a total goober after I figured it out. Has anyone else wasted a crazy amount of time on something this simple?
90 minutes swapping cables" is wild to me. I would have rage quit after 15 and just ordered a new monitor. You have way more patience than most people.
