Swapped to vertical monitor for coding and it fixed my neck pain
For 2 years I had my two monitors side by side and kept turning my head left to read long lines of code. Last week I rotated one monitor to portrait mode and now I can see 80 lines at once without moving my head. Has anyone else tried a vertical setup for reading docs or spreadsheets?

My friend Sarah did this and her chiropractor said her neck curve improved noticeably.

Actually, most chiropractors base "neck curve improvements" on x-rays they take themselves, which isn't really a standard medical measurement. The curve of your spine can look different depending on how you're positioned and what angle they take the image from. There's also not a ton of solid research showing that simple exercises or stretches permanently change the structure of your cervical spine. It's more likely that what Sarah feels better is muscle tension and pain relief rather than an actual bone curve change.
