Found a practically new Yeti cup in a Target dumpster last night

I was tossing some boxes behind the strip mall around 11 PM and spotted this matte black 26oz Rambler sitting right on top. No dents, no scratches, just some sticky soda residue on the lid. Brought it home, scrubbed it with hot soapy water, and it looks flawless. Anyone else ever score premium brand stuff that clearly got tossed by accident?

...which is basically my entire personality at this point, finding treasure in people's trash. I once pulled a perfectly good KitchenAid mixer out of an alley (not gonna lie, I almost cried when I saw it sitting there). But a Yeti cup is like the holy grail of dumpster finds, honestly. People are so quick to toss stuff that just needs a little scrub, it's almost like they're doing us a favor. Half the time I wonder if they even look at what they're throwing away or if they just see "used" and panic.

and honestly that's not even that weird, I find Yeti stuff in the weirdest places all the time. My neighbor pulled a brand new one out of a recycling bin last spring, still had the little sticker on it. People toss them because they get a scratch and then buy a new color or something, it's ridiculous. The lids are the main thing that gets gunky anyway, and you can just soak those in vinegar overnight. You basically scored a $40 cup for zero dollars and a little elbow grease. Lucky find for sure.
