I was stripping 12/2 Romex with my linesman pliers for a decade before a guy in Omaha called me out

He watched me nick the copper on a ground wire and just said, 'You know they make a tool for that, right?' He pulled out a basic Ideal 45-124 stripper and showed me the clean strip in two seconds. I felt like a total rookie. What's the one tool you were way too late to start using?
