Finally got the hang of setting those tricky door zone limits on the new MCE controllers
I used to just guess and adjust by feel, which meant a lot of callbacks for doors closing too fast. After a training session in Tacoma last month, I learned to use the laser distance tool first, then set the exact millimeter in the software. Has anyone else found a better way to get that first measurement spot on?

Guessing by feel sounds like a great way to get a free workout running back and forth to the job site. My old boss used to eyeball it and we'd have doors slamming shut like they were mad at the house. The laser tool is a game changer, but I still double check with a tape measure because my hands aren't exactly surgeon steady. Maybe it's just me but trusting a single number from a little red dot still makes me nervous.

Mad at the house" is the perfect way to put it. My laser and I have trust issues too, so that backup tape is my therapy.
